Because Snow ran the U of Maine program, college teams have the hard decision of player cuts made for you because their careers are limited to four yrs or less. Snow may have made the tradeoff between KO and Ladd, because Ladd brought a successful pro career behind him and Snow saw the Isles as a team ready to take off if you ignore the fact that their d is a patchwork of a top pair out of position, rookies and waiver castoffs plus a goaltender they were lucky to get as a UFA. Also factor in the other goalies like an overage Nabokov or Rolston. Gotta also include getting Viz who proved effective but with a concussion history, no other GM saw as a long term solution. These short sighted moves alone make him unqualified as a GM to build a team of the future. Even when he signs Chimera statements like "he's got lots of speed" tells me he has little insight into pro players.

In all honesty he should have enough conscience to hand in his resignation and seek another role. Just look at the BRI team and that alone tells you it is time to get a more NHL caliber team in place.

Forgot to mention Bailey, Garth's franchise player. Super guy with great character but took ten years to learn the NHL game. Just feel this is a roster of prima donnas that play with a sense of entitlement.
